The Museum of the Year 2011
The Balatoni Museum and the Hungarian Natural History Museum won the title “The Museum of the Year”.
The prize “The Museum of the Year” was given by Ms. Judit Hammerstein, the vice Minister of State for Culture of the Ministry of Human Resources in the garden of the Hungarian National Museum on 19 May, 2012.
The Balatoni Museum won the honourable title for the visitor-lover renovation of the building and the permanent exhibition, rich and effective museum-pedagogical work.
